Range 4b
This range is for firearms of only handgun calibers. The bay is approximately 28 yards deep. There are five permanent target boards in this range. There is a concrete pad that spans the entire width of the shooting area with a roof over the pad. Tables also span the shooting area. Plastic chairs are available, as well.
Two target boards are placed at approximately 6 yards, two target board are at approximately 15 yards, and one target board is at approximately 25 yards. Paper and cardboard targets must be affixed to one of these target board. No user target stands are allowed at this range. Targets must not be placed on areas painted red on the target boards and posts and shots may not be intentionally fired at red areas.
Shooting must be done from directly behind the tables on the concrete when more than one person/group is present. One person/group may shoot out on the range surface in front of the concrete, but only when there are no others present on this range.
This range has a COLD RANGE horn and shooters may NOT touch or handle any firearms when the horn is active.
Members may NOT use their own target stands at this range. No steel targets are allowed at this range. Items, such as clay pigeons may not be shot on the back berm or anywhere else on this range.
